Delhi Technological University (Formerly Delhi College of Engineering),one of the premier technological institutions of India, takes pride not only in imparting technical education, but also in developing and nurturing talents of its students. The spirit of DCE has always been to inculcate , an aptitude for technological advancement among its students , and encourage them to embark on a relentless pursuit for excellence. CSI -Computer Society of India is one of the leading technical societies of India that aims at spreading the awareness and knowledge about overall computing, through various channels that include seminars, workshops, industrial activities, research and development. The Society has more than 30,000 members in 65 chapters and 183 student branches spread over different colleges and institutes of the country. In order to channelize the tremendous potential of the students, CSI-DTU student chapter is organizing PHOENIX - a four day long technical fest comprising of a multitude of activities that cover the diverse aspects of computer and information technology.Thousands of students from various Universities and institutes all over India are expected to take part in this many-hued, multi¬faceted experience. Phoenix is a four day long series of events and activities that include LAN gaming, code breaking, Ad making, Animation, web designing, quizzing and several other informal events that transform the world of computing to a different dimension.The name "Phoenix" is symbolic of rebirth and revival of the dauntless spirit and never subsiding enthusiasm of the people working behind this event. It symbolizes the rising of society from the ashes and taking the first flight towards the zenith of success. We have left no stone unturned in making this event a grand success. Extensive publicity of the event is being done all over Delhi and NCR at locales that include colleges, schools , computer institutes , food joints , industrial areas, etc. We have ensured that full coverage of the event will be done through media including the press , radio and television channels. Invitations and information about the event have been sent to various parts of the country seeking active participation to make the event a success saga.
